Notice Concerning the Results of the “GRESB Real Estate” Evaluation
The Investment Corporation has been participating in the GRESB Infrastructure Fund Assessment since 2019, and received a 5-star rating in the 2021 GRESB Infrastructure Fund Assessment, which is based on a relative ranking of five overall scores, based on the Investment Corporation’s policy and structure for addressing ESG issues, reporting on ESG activities, assessment and analysis process for ESG risks, and results of the operator’s asset assessment. As a result, the company received a 5-star rating in the GRESB Rating, a five-point scale based on the relative ranking of overall scores, and was selected as an Asia Sector Leader.
GRESB is the name of a benchmark and its governing body that measures the environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) performance of real asset portfolios (real estate, infrastructure facilities, etc.), and was established in 2009 by a group of major European pension funds that led the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The GRESB and the GRESB are the names of the two major pension fund groups in Japan.
